Summary: On February 27, 2026, the Changchun New Area held a grand conference on high-quality economic development for 2026. The conference set its sights on achieving a GDP exceeding 100 billion yuan during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and identified the optoelectronic information industry as one of its core development directions, with a particular focus on the planned construction of the core area of China’s Optoelectronics City. Xuan Jingquan, Chairman of Jilin Aolide Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech as a corporate representative, sharing Aolide’s practical achievements in its deep-rooted engagement in the OLED industry. He also announced three key initiatives through which the company will integrate into the New Area’s optoelectronics industry development, demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of this leading local enterprise in supporting the construction of the core area of China’s Optoelectronics City.

Xuan Jingquan, Chairman of Jilin Aolide Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech as a corporate representative, sharing Aolide’s practical achievements in its deep-rooted engagement in the OLED industry. He also announced three key initiatives through which the company will integrate into the New Area’s optoelectronics industry development, demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of this leading local enterprise in supporting the construction of the core area of China’s Optoelectronics City.
In his speech, Xuan Jingquan, Chairman of the Board, stated that Oled has always been focused on achieving domestic substitution for key upstream materials and core equipment in the OLED industry. Rooted in the Changchun New Area, the company deeply appreciates the area’s business environment, which embodies the principles of “business first and projects paramount.” Currently, the company’s R&D and industrialization project for critical functional materials used in OLED displays—built in the Beihu Fine Chemical New Materials Industry Demonstration Park—is progressing efficiently. The project covers an area of 136,000 square meters and is planned to achieve a production capacity of up to one thousand tons. Its key technical indicators have reached internationally advanced levels. This project will serve as the cornerstone of the company’s dual-drive strategy—combining materials and equipment—and will inject strong momentum into bolstering and strengthening Changchun’s optoelectronics industry chain.
Regarding the development blueprint for building the core area of China’s Optoelectronics City in the Changchun New Area, Xuan Jingquan, Chairman of Xuanjingquan, made a solemn statement on behalf of Oled. First, we will accelerate project construction at full speed, strictly control engineering quality, expedite the construction schedule, and ensure that the first phase of the project is topped out by 2026 and achieves small-scale mass production by 2027, thereby establishing a world-class R&D and mass-production base for OLED display materials and leading the clustered, high-end development of the optoelectronics materials industry in the New Area. Second, we will deepen our commitment to technological innovation and breakthroughs, focusing on addressing the “bottleneck” challenges in key materials for next-generation displays. We will continue to increase R&D investment, attract top innovative talent, and build a solid technological foundation for the core area of China’s Optoelectronics City through independent control of core technologies. Third, we will actively pursue industrial-chain-based investment attraction, leveraging the resource advantages of our listed company, and collaborating with leading enterprises across the upstream and downstream segments of the new display industry chain—using businesses to attract businesses and chains to attract businesses—to help the New Area establish an optoelectronics industry ecosystem that integrates upstream and downstream sectors and fosters collaboration among industry, academia, and research institutions.
Chairman Xuan Jingquan emphasized that the Changchun New Area’s focus on developing the optoelectronics information industry and its planned construction of the core area of China Optoelectronics City are highly aligned with Aolide’s development strategy, presenting the company with unprecedented growth opportunities. Looking ahead, Aolide will continue to resonate in sync and work in the same direction as the Changchun New Area, embracing its responsibility to strengthen the nation through practical industrial endeavors and pursuing innovation for long-term success. Aolide will persistently enhance its capability to independently supply high-end display materials, thereby contributing its strength to promoting the New Area’s high-quality economic development, building China Optoelectronics City, and supporting Jilin’s comprehensive revitalization.
