Li Ganjie, Minister of the War Department, attended and delivered a speech. Xuan Jingquan, chairman of Jilin Aolaide Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd., attended the meeting as a representative of private entrepreneurs in Jilin Province.
Li Ganjie stated that carrying out publicity and education on the situation and policies for private economic personnel, and listening to their opinions and suggestions, is an important measure to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's economic thinking and the important speech delivered at the symposium on private enterprises. This helps guide private economic personnel to unify their thoughts and actions with the Party Central Committee's scientific judgment and decision-making on the domestic and international situation. Building on the steady and positive progress of the national economy in the first half of the year, we should firmly maintain confidence, make every effort, and make new contributions to economic development in the second half of the year with new achievements in the private economy.
Li Ganjie hopes that private economic personnel will deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishes," resolutely uphold the "two safeguards," and thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's instruction to "cherish the ambition of serving the country, focus on development, abide by the law and operate well, and promote common prosperity through getting rich first." They should position themselves within the "two overall situations," grasp the general trend, and enhance their determination and confidence in development; cultivate patriotism, always thinking, standing, and working together with the Party Central Committee; stimulate innovation, taking the lead in developing new productive forces in a way that suits local conditions; strengthen the rule of law thinking, striving to build law-abiding, honest, and clean private enterprises; enhance the sense of responsibility, actively playing a leading role in stabilizing employment and promoting common prosperity, and firmly acting as builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics and promoters of Chinese-style modernization.
About 80 private economic personnel from across the country attended the meeting. Principal officials from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce gave thematic reports, and officials from relevant departments also participated.
