OLED won the 2022 Contribution Award for the New Display Industry Chain in China - Innovation Breakthrough Award

Recently, Jilin OLED Material Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "OLED" or "the company") received the award notification for the "2022 China New Display Industry Chain Contribution Award" from the China Electronic Materials Industry Association. The company's innovative project "PDL Materials (Photosensitive Polyimide Materials)" won the "Innovation Breakthrough Award." This is the fifth time OLED has received this honor after winning the "2017 China New Display Industry Chain Development Contribution Award - Special Contribution Award," "2018 China New Display Industry Chain Development Contribution Award - Outstanding Contribution Award," "2020 China New Display Industry Chain Development Contribution Award - Outstanding Contribution Award," and "2021 China New Display Industry Chain Development Contribution Award - Innovation Breakthrough Award."
PDL materials are mainly used in the evaporation process of OLED screens to separate the boundaries of each sub-pixel of the organic light-emitting layer (EML). For a long time, a certain Japanese company has held an absolute advantage in the field of PDL materials, occupying a large share of the global PDL materials market. OLED dares to break through the patent technology limitations of foreign manufacturers, and the independently developed PDL materials (Photosensitive Polyimide Materials) have good photosensitivity, resolution, tensile properties, and lower thermal shrinkage rates. The residual film rate and photosensitivity of related products are on par with the technical level of international similar products, and have obtained national invention patent authorization and submitted PCT international patent applications, with patent applications entering the United States, Germany, South Korea, and Taiwan having been published. Currently, the mass production process of the company's PDL materials (Photosensitive Polyimide Materials) is stable, and multiple new testing conditions have been explored, with testing already begun on downstream customer production lines.
This award is a full recognition of the company's innovative projects. In the future, OLED will continue to work hard, bravely undertake the mission of strengthening the country through industry, continue to focus on the OLED industry, adhere to the development path of "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative," and continuously plan and deploy "domestic substitution" and "solving bottleneck technologies," striving to make greater contributions to the high-quality development of China's new display industry chain.
